Chris Wedge is already a well known face in Hollywood. He has directed movies like “Ice Age” and “Robots”.

He would now be directing a movie based on the Spore videogame from Electronic Arts.

20th Century Fox has acquired the rights for this movie.

Will Wright is the original designer of the Spore videogame.

Blue Sky Studios and EA would be producing this project.
